Gallery day for this lovely bride, and I’m still swooning over this @thatflowerladyjess bouquet! The perfect mix of boho and romance 😍 There’s a reason she’s one of my preferred vendor recommendations!
Speaking of that, did you know I love helping my couples put together their vendor team? I feel like the photographer has such a perfect viewpoint of other vendors on wedding days. We see it all and focus on every little detail, so the vendors who rock it definitely stand out! It’s just one of the ways I like to make sure that adventure towards the big day is a little less stressful!

When you pop the question in such an epic place, is there any other option but to return for your engagement session? Ben and Ashley didn’t think so, and I am so glad! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love taking my couples somewhere fun for their engagement session!! It’s such an important step in the wedding journey for so many reasons, and one that I insist on with all of my couples. That’s why it’s included in every wedding collection!

Here’s some honesty to start off the week:
Some days as an entrepreneur (a mom, a friend) are amazing. You meet the right people, you connect with the right clients, and everyone is super excited. Lately I’ve had a lot of those days and it’s felt ahhhmazing! Maybe it’s balance, or maybe it’s just life reminding me not to get too comfortable, but the past 48 hours were among the hardest I’ve faced as a small biz owner (🤞🏻) and coming down from all that emotion has opened my eyes to two things:
1) I am SO DANG LUCKY that that was the worst weekend I’ve had yet! And
2) It’s fine. Was it something I want to repeat? No freakin way! But did I survive? Was everyone else ok? Could it have been a million times worse? Yes!
So my Monday morning message to you is this: take a deep breath and consider how ok all of your complaints are, how absolutely bearable life’s basic trials are, because they are the price of living and loving and stepping out into the world, out of your comfort zone, with the intent to enjoy life. It’s a price we should all be happy to pay!
And for my lovely friends inconvenienced by this weekend’s onslaught of bad luck, I got you. I’m with you. We’ll accomplish what we set out for and it’ll be gorgeous!
